About Get Set

Get Set is the official London 2012 education programme for schools, college and local authority education providers across the UK. It provides free learning resources for 3-19 year olds to find out more about the Games and explore the Olympic Values of excellence, friendship and respect, and the Paralympic Values of determination, inspiration, courage and equality.

Register with the programme to receive access to even more resources and opportunities, a monthly newsletter and the chance to join the Get Set network and be rewarded and recognised for your school/college work.

The Get Set network is made up of learning providers who are demonstrably living one or more of the Olympic and Paralympic Values and are committed to integrating these Values into their whole school development planning and ethos.

The Get Set network is a special community of schools and colleges which are:

  • demonstrating a commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Values: respect, friendship, equality, excellence, inspiration, courage and determination
  • Using the London 2012 Games to inspire learners of all ages and abilities to get involved in Values-based projects and activities.

Any school or college in the UK can become a member of the Get Set network and receive rewards and recognition from London 2012.

Simply complete the simple three-step online form to tell the Get Set team about your school/college activities and how you’re living the Olympic and Paralympic Values in your school. You’ll then become a member of the Get Set network, the London 2012 reward and recognition scheme for schools and colleges across the UK.

Include details of how you're using our Maths and Sport: Countdown to the Games resources in your school, as this is great evidence for how you’re already living the Values.
